About the Work
I have been an artist my whole life, though it wasn't until I was 23 that I discovered photography. Ever since that moment, in a class at Maude Kerns art center in Eugene, Ore., I have been in love with creating beautiful images both for clients and for my own explorations.
Over the past 30 years I have collaborated with designers and art directors around the country, working with clients such as the New York City Ballet, Seattle Opera and Puerto Rico Tourism. Concurrently, I have been immersed in creating fine art works which have been shown in galleries from Seattle to New York City. My love of photography has taken me around the world with my Pinhole Travels and my Holga Road Trip series, and deep within, for my Animal Dreams, Still Life and Rapture series. It is a lifelong endeavor, always unfolding, ever revealing, and continually surprising to me, the artist and witness.
